The Person Behind the Code

Enthusiastic about information technology, with a strong focus on system and network administration, virtualization, and digital solution development, I build my skills through a personal homelab, where I experiment various infrastructure scenarios, routing and firewalling as well as storage services such as NAS/SAN.
I also enjoy creating small software tools, scripts, and web interfaces — like this portfolio — that allow me to apply my knowledge in automation, programming, and front-end development.
Outside of IT, I’m interested in video games, 3D Printers and Entrepreneurship.

Personal VPN Deployment with WireGuard

Description:

I set up and deployed a personal WireGuard VPN on a Linode VPS to securely route internet traffic and access private services remotely.

Details:

  • ✓ Installed and configured WireGuard on a cloud VPS (RedHat Linux)
  • ✓ Hardened the server (firewall rules, SSH restriction, change default ports..)
  • ✓ Generated keys for multiple devices (laptop, phone, etc.)
  • ✓ Enabled secure access to self-hosted services without exposing them to the public internet
  • ✓ Maintained connectivity across devices and platforms (IOS, Android, Linux.)

Results:

I can now securely browse from any location and access my VPS-hosted tools as if I were on the local network — with full encryption, zero port exposure, and multi-device support.

Used stack:

  • WireGuard
  • Linux
  • Firewalld
  • Linode VPS
  • Podman

Personal Portfolio Website (From Scratch)

Description:

To showcase my skills, projects, and certifications as an IT professional, I designed and developed a fully custom portfolio website — without using any frameworks or templates.

Details:

  • ✓ Coded everything from scratch using pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • ✓ Designed the entire UI/UX myself, focusing on clarity, responsiveness, and accessibility
  • ✓ Organized the project structure with scalability and maintainability in mind
  • ✓ Implemented animations and section transitions for a smooth user experience
  • ✓ Deployed the site using GitHub Pages, and set up a CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions to auto-deploy on every push to main

Results:

A clean, responsive, and lightweight portfolio that I fully control — demonstrating both frontend coding and DevOps deployment skills.

Used stack:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • GitHub Pages
  • GitHub Actions (CI/CD)
